Bansun — Licenses and Attribution

The included Bansun app is marked AGPL-3.0 in its supplied source license. Read the GNU Affero General Public License v3 for its permissions and obligations, including obligations that can apply when modified software is used over a network.

These website terms do not remove open-source rights. Operators and redistributors must review and satisfy the source-availability and notice obligations for their deployment. Do not treat this summary as the full license or as legal advice.

The vendored WebLLM engine uses Apache 2.0. Transformers.js uses Apache 2.0 and ONNX Runtime uses MIT. The downloaded vendor artifacts include their component notices. AI weights have their own licenses, which are not replaced by the app's license.

The default Qwen2.5 1.5B and SmolLM2 1.7B server sources use Apache 2.0. The optional Qwen2.5 3B browser choice is research-only; do not assume it permits commercial use. Read the browser model source list and each repository's current license before using or redistributing weights.

Bansun's supplied project credits Snowmoon by Vitalik Buterin (GPL v3) as an inspiration. Bansun is not affiliated with or endorsed by the author. This notice preserves the original project attribution.

Fonts and other bundled assets retain their supplied license notices. Third-party token names, logos and external websites belong to their respective owners; their presence does not imply endorsement.
